CDSBEO recognizes its "heroes" at annual Bravo Breakfast

"Unsung heroes" in schools within the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) were recognized at the Bravo Breakfast held at Hanley Hall in Smiths Falls on Monday, March 8.

The Bravo Breakfast Awards mark the efforts and achievements of students who are significant, positive contributors to their school's everyday life. Each school selected one student for this award. In the case of secondary schools, one student was selected from both the elementary and high school divisions. Participating in the special breakfast: Wm. J. Gartland, director of education with the CDSBEO, board vice-chair Nancy Kirby who represents Lanark County, Grenville County trustee Brent Laton and board chair Ronald Eamer. Local award recipients: Kristie Danfousse of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Carleton Place, Kathryn Eygenstein of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Carleton Place, Ashley Dawn Stockton of St. Gregory Catholic School in Carleton Place, Andrew van Campen of Holy Name of Mary Catholic School in Almonte, and, Ryan Villeneuve of St. Mary Catholic School in Carleton Place.
