Blackbird helping hospital and environment

Tweet ThisEMC Business - Mill Street business owner Emily Arbour is doing her part for the environment and for the Almonte General Hospital (AGH).
Customers who spend more than $50 in her store will receive a Blackbird-branded reusable shopping bag, and each time a customer uses the bag at the store, Arbour will make a donation to the hospital. The bags can also be purchased for $2.99, with $1 going to AGH.
"The Almonte General Hospital holds a special place in my heart," says Arbour. "I spent almost a week there after the birth of my daughter last year and it just felt like home. The staff who took care of us weren't just nurses and doctors they were customers and neighbours."
