Dillabough and the Ottawa Valley Review take to the stage March 13
Posted Mar 4, 2010 By EMC NewsEMC Events - Lyle Dillabough and the Ottawa Valley Review will perform a 'Classic Country Show' at the Carleton Heritage Inn in Carleton Place on Saturday, March 13. The show starts at 8 p.m.
Veteran local musicians Tom Gardiner and Mac Knowles along with several special guests including Darlene Thibault will join Dillabough on stage.
Gardiner has been performing music in the Ottawa Valley for more than half a century. He has appeared with several bands over the years but is likely best known as being a member of the legendary Ottawa Valley Country dance band The Ramblers.
Knowles has performed with groups across the country, and he has earned a North American wide reputation for restoring instruments and constructing original steel guitars.
The show will take place in the Heritage Hall section of the Carleton Heritage Inn. A dance floor will be set up for those who wish to dance.
Admission is $10, and partial proceeds from the event will be donated to the Lanark County Food Bank.
"I believe we help ourselves most when we try to help others," Dillabough stated.
